Granular Hepa-Merz is part of the group: liver therapy. Granular Hepa-Merz stimulates ammonia detoxification by increasing urea synthesis in the urea cycle. It helps in the extrahepatic detoxification of ammonia from tissues.
Granular Hepa Merz is used to treat latent or overt hepatic encephalopathy in conditions with insufficient hepatic detoxification (eg in cirrhosis of the liver) and their complications.
Composition:
- The active substance is L-ornithine-L-aspartate.
Administration method:
The contents of 1-2 sachets of granulated Hepa-Merz will be dissolved in a sufficient amount of liquid (for example a glass of water, tea or juice) and the solution obtained will be administered orally up to 3 times / day.
Contraindications:
Do not use granular Hepa-Merz:
- if you are allergic to silymarin or any of the other ingredients.

Driving and using machines:
Due to the underlying condition, the ability to drive and use machines may be impaired during treatment with L-ornithine-L-aspartate.
